Privacy policy

Last updated 26 July 2026

Calvelle is operated from Manitoba, Canada. This page describes exactly what we collect and who it goes to. If anything here is unclear, email hello@calvelle.com and a human will answer.

What we collect

When you order. Your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, and what you bought. The phone number is required by our fulfilment carrier and we cannot ship without it.

When you join the list or apply to be an Insider. Your email address, and for Insiders whatever you choose to write in the application.

When you visit. The page you viewed, the site that referred you, any ?src= tag on the link you followed, your browser's user agent string and the time. This is kept so we can tell which posts and links actually bring people here.

Your card details, we never see. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's systems and never reach our servers or our database. We receive only a confirmation, the amount, and the last four digits.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share only what each of these needs to do its job:

Cookies and tracking

We use a cart cookie so your bag survives a page reload, and Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits. We run no advertising pixels and no third party ad trackers. Blocking analytics cookies in your browser will not stop you ordering.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years, because tax and consumer protection law requires it. Email list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. Insider applications are kept until you ask us to remove them. Visit logs are kept for two years.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@calvelle.com and we will action it within 30 days. We may need to keep order records where the law requires it, and we will tell you if that applies. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator. If you are in Canada, that is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to anyone on the list.
